It gives the learner an understanding of how they can work in a safe and healthy manner, identify key hazards in their own workplace, be able to understand and utilise rules and working practices of food hygiene and understand the implications and results of their actions.

3 Days – CIEH Level 3 Intermediate Award in Supervising Food Safety – £233.00

Develop the skills required to supervise and lead a team in the hospitality trade, ensuring compliance and food safety procedures.

Who is it for?

  • This course is suited to any employee that supervises members of staff in all aspects of food safety
  • Those who have already gained the CIEH Level 2 Foundation Award in Food Safety in Catering
  • Particularly relevant for those who have to develop or monitor food safety management procedures and systems

The CIEH Level 3 Intermediate Award in Supervising Food Safety will benefit anyone working in a supervisory position where food is prepared, cooked and served. As a programme it is relevant to all catering operations; including pubs, hotels, restaurants, fast-food outlets, hospitals, care and nursing homes, schools and prisons. It covers how food business operators can ensure compliance with food safety legislation, the application and monitoring of good hygiene practice, how to implement food safety management procedures and the role of supervision in food safety management procedures.

10hrs – City and Guilds Level 2 Award in Contact Dermatitis Prevention – £180.00

Provides the individual with essential knowledge and understanding of contact dermatitis prevention in the workplace.

It is particularly aimed at those working in industries such as cleaning, hairdressing, catering and beauty therapy as they are more likely to develop contact dermatitis than in any other occupation. This course trains employees about how to protect themselves from contact dermatitis and implement protective measures in the workplace.

11hrs – BIIAB Level 2 Award in Drug Awareness for Licensed Hospitality Staff – £150.00

Developed for anyone working in licensed premises that may be exposed to illegal drug activity whilst dealing with the public on a regular basis it will give employees the knowledge and confidence they need to help prevent and deal effectively with any drug related problems.

5hrs – CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Allergen Awareness – £48.00

Develop knowledge and understanding of allergens to provide complete and correct food allergen information to customers.

The CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Allergen Awareness has been designed for food handlers in catering and food retail businesses to help them to develop an awareness of food allergens. It can be studied in order to comply with the legal requirements to provide food allergen information to customers and to allow employees to operate knowledgeably in practical allergen management.

12 Months – City and Guilds NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service – £1,500.00

The level 3 City & Guilds NVQ Diploma in Customer Service qualification aims to provide opportunities to demonstrate understanding of customer service as a competitive tool and to be proactive in finding solutions both within and externally to their organisation. Learners are likely to have significant responsibility for the delivery of both internal and external customer service within their team or organisation.
