Level 2 IT Application Specialist Framework enables you to gain a range of skills and knowledge in the use of IT applications or use of IT equipment that can prepare you to enter the IT sector, a specific job role or lead to an apprenticeship or further learning either within the workplace or with a training provider. There is one mandatory unit Improving Productivity Using IT, which can be based around one of the optional units. You can select from a range of optional units which will give you the required skills and knowledge to make effective use of IT in a number of areas in the future. The apprenticeships duration is 12 months on program.

IT User Skills Level 2 Framework is ideal for office based role that rely on a wide range of IT systems. The framework will cover the knowledge and skills needed to work effectively and efficiently with IT systems, communication and productivity tools and software applications. Some of the elements include: using email and the internet, desktop publishing, practical data processing and word processing techniques. This framework duration is 12 months.
Level 4 IT, Technician/IT Service/Network Manager entails the hands-on, day to day management, monitoring, capacity planning and reporting on the Core IT infrastructure, with an emphasis on the Microsoft System Centre suite of software. It also offers 3rd line support as part of the call escalation process from the 1st/2nd line Support Technicians. The apprenticeships duration is 36 months on program.
A Digital & Technology Solutions Professional Level 6 Standard provides technology enabled solutions to internal and/or external customers, in a range of areas including software, business and systems analysis, cyber security, data analysis and network infrastructure. They implement technology solutions that enable businesses to develop new products and services and to increase an organisations productivity using digital technologies. They are confident, competent and capable independent Technology Solutions Professionals able to operate in a range of related roles. The occupation is based upon a core set of outcomes that will be supplemented by one, and only one, of six specialism areas detailed below that cover the roles identified by employers. The apprenticeships duration is 36 months on program.
