This Improving Operational Performance Framework is available as a Level 2; Improving Operations Performance Apprenticeships provide learners with the skills in specialist areas of expertise. Areas include engineering operations and manufacturing production and improvement of manufacturing processes. The Level 2 Framework has a duration of 12 months on program.
This Engineering Manufacture Framework is available as a Level 2; while completing these qualifications, you can choose an area to specialize in that suit the job you do and the skills you've developed. You choose from options including: Machine operating, Production assembly, Machine tool setting, Fitting and assembly, Composite manufacture/Polymer engineering. You will learn in the work environment. Assessment will also take place in the workplace or a simulated workplace. Work outcomes will be assessed by an assessor. The Level 2 Framework has a duration of 36 months on program.
This apprenticeship is available as a Level 3 Framework in Engineering Manufacture; this level is ideal if you are working in production engineering and have a great deal of technical skills and knowledge. You work with minimum supervision and have a good record of safety, fault correction and ensuring that work meets the required standard. The Level 3 Framework has a duration of 24 months on program.
Engineering Technical Support is available as a Level 3 Framework; many engineering companies have an in house drawing and design department or they outsource to external companies. This Apprenticeship follows a program of training that develops the necessary skills to carry out 2D and even 3D drawings of manufactured products.
