There is a great demand for well-trained and multi-skilled people across a range of rewarding employment opportunities within the health, social and childcare sector. Providing help and care for those in need or who are vulnerable offers a unique sense of personal and career fulfilment. Whatever route they choose, all of our Apprenticeships offer excellent training and development opportunities and will provide an excellent starting point for their career.

Available as level 2 framework, this qualification is designed to help learners build the knowledge and skills needed when working under supervision with children and young people from birth to 19 years of age. It covers a diverse range of job roles and occupational areas working in children’s settings including early years and social care. The apprenticeships duration is 12 months on program.

This apprenticeship is available as Level 3 Framework, aimed at those people already working in the Children and Young People sector. For example, you may be working as a child-minder, day care supervisor, Sure Start worker, community nursery nurse or as a learning mentor. You may or may not have some supervisory responsibilities. You want to be in sole charge of children, for example managing a room in a nursery. The apprenticeships duration is 24 months on program.

Available as level 3 framework, the Early Years Workforce will be required to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of early years education and care, including that they can support and promote children's early education and development, plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepares them for school, make accurate and productive use of assessment, develop effective and informed practice, safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children, work in partnership with the key person, colleagues, parents and/or careers or other professionals. The apprenticeships duration is 18 months on program.

Supported teaching and learning in schools level 2 Framework Level 2 will suit you if you are already working in a school and want a qualification that proves your skills and helps you develop your career. The apprenticeships duration is 12 months on program.

Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools Level 3 framework is ideal if you have significant experience as a school support worker and wish to move into a more specialised role - in administration, learning support and management. The apprenticeships duration is 12 months on program.

Youth Work Practice Framework Level 2 will suit you if you are a professional or voluntary youth worker, and have some relevant knowledge and skills, usually from a role where you've been supervised. The apprenticeships duration is 12 months on program.

Youth work practice Framework Level 3 is ideal if you are a professional or voluntary youth worker, and have a great deal of technical skills and knowledge. You work with minimum supervision and have a good record of safety, fault correction and ensuring that work meets the required standard. The apprenticeships duration is 18 months on program.
